PDF document set Adobe Reader as Default application

$ sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/AdobeReader.desktop

64 bit
$ sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/AdobeReader.desktop

Edit the Exec=acroread line to be Exec=acroread %f

and save the file.

Now you can see Adobe reader option when you right click on the pdf
